A full city day. Leave the car parked; visit the historic center on foot or by local transit.

Drive south. Check into a hotel with a prebooked garage, then explore Naples on foot.
Naples + Pompeii
Drive to Pompeii for a timed visit; return for a Naples food and live-music evening.
Naples → Sorrento
Move to a Sorrento hotel with confirmed parking. Sunset walk and group dinner.
Sorrento
Slow day for the old town, viewpoints and an optional boat trip if operating and seas allow.

Choose a day trip to Capri if ferries run, or keep the car parked and enjoy Sorrento.

Drive the coastal route in daylight. Check into a regular hotel in Amalfi, Maiori or nearby with parking confirmed in writing.

Explore the neighboring towns at a relaxed pace; dinner together.

Drive or use a local transfer for gardens and sea views. Keep an indoor option for rain.

Day visit for viewpoints, shops and dinner. Confirm the garage and the late return drive before choosing a music night.

Group booking checklist
- Get each traveler’s actual NYC–FCO round-trip airfare with bags and change terms.
- Quote a vehicle that fits every person plus luggage. Split into two rentals if the group outgrows one legal vehicle.
- Get the rental’s full 14-day total, insurance excess, additional drivers, fuel policy and FCO return instructions.
- Confirm every hotel’s garage location, daily parking fee, car size limit, accessibility and cancellation terms.
- Drivers need a valid license and an international driving permit or certified Italian translation under Italian rules.
- Check passports and current Italy / Schengen entry rules; ETIAS start timing is still pending.
- Do not drive into restricted traffic zones or assume a hotel booking grants entry.
